Don De Alban has been focused in environmental work in the Philippines for the past 5 years through the application of geomatics in conservation planning and research. He has worked with Haribon Foundation, and was involved with biodiversity projects in Samar and the Polillo Islands. Currently, he is a Project Coordinator of the Foundation for the Philippine Environment. Through blogging, he intends to place Philippine biodiversity in the mainstream consciousness of Filipinos.
